Your dressing is water-tight and should stay in place until your first post-op visit. You may shower, but do not immerse the leg in water (no baths or pools).
Unless told otherwise, you may bear weight as tolerated right after surgery.
Use your ice machine or ice packs 20 minutes every 2 hours until your first post-operative visit. Keep a thin towel between the ice and your skin.
No driving until cleared. Wear compression stockings on both legs until your first visit. Begin your exercises on day one, 3-4 times daily. First post-op visit is typically 7-14 days after surgery.
